Goals
My goals for this school year is to live and enjoy the moment. I find myself thinking about the past, something that can’t be changed, so I want to look forward and make memories that I won’t regret. This is going to be difficult for me to accomplish since I am taking AP world. However, I believe one class shouldn’t take over your life, and you shouldn’t stress over getting an A. This is a main goal of mine, because I have noticed my classmates are always stressed and never have bothered to stop and look around. Many people don’t even know their classmates names but they have memorized every king, god, or even fictional characters from novels. Therefore, I want to experience high school, our “glory years” lost in the moment while we still have it. For anyone that is not living high school to the fullest my question to you is: Why and what motivates you to rush so much into the real word?

Hey Alex, first of all I'd like to say you have a great point of view on the way people interact and change in this time of our lives. I agree with you on points like, enjoying the moment, experiencing many things that happen only in our, "glory years" and to make decisions in life that won't make us brood about or regret in the future. To answer your question, Why/what motivates me to rush into the real "word" is that I fear the soon to be responsibilities of collage, careers, and many other important life decisions. That is why we should learn together as a class to enjoy our youthful years together and build strong relationships with our classmates and the subject of english rather than taking the class to get an A, then proceeding to move up the ladder of life, blinded by the ambitions of the future. I'm not trying to say working hard for goals isn't what you should do, but I believe once in a while connect with another human being rather than connecting your laptop to study for the next test. Thank you for posting your wonderful goals and have a great weekend ʕ•ᴥ•ʔ.
