My Goals

My Goals

This year my goals within the classroom include obtaining a more complex vocabulary, being a quicker reader, and not procrastinating on essays. Also I want to be able to be more creative and not so realistic so I can better comprehend and respond to poems or creative literature, so then I can write better creative literature myself. Outside of English I want to maintain all A's, hopefully above a 4.0 GPA, and I want to keep my job and hopefully get one that better fits my schedule, but if not it's fine, and keep up my candy sales. I'm all about the money. Also I tend to get lazy or procrastinate so I'm really trying to break that habit this year, although I think that's going to be my hardest one to be honest. My last goal for this year is to have a better attendance because I usually am slacking in that department but I've gotten better so hopefully it continues.

My goals for my future education are getting into a 4 year university, graduating of course, and then going to law school to pursue a career in law. I also want to get my Bachelors and Masters degree. before I had no idea what I wanted to do, as far as career wise, but in more recent years I've realized the only area that really interested me is law, somewhat because I'm really good at debating and seeing things from different perspectives to solve problems. Therefore I want to either be a prosecutor or a private investigator, I'm leaning more towards prosecutor because of the money but I know that's not what's going to make me happy in the end so we'll just have to see which one can bring both success and content to the table. These goals are indeed realistic and time-sensitive, and it's important because if we set unrealistic goals it's likely we won't be able to achieve them and if they're not time-sensitive, such as going to Bora Bora ate age 18, then they can stray us from what's really important, disappoint us, and have us wasting out time, money, and effort.
