Honestly, my main goal at the moment is to get through the next four years of high school as best as I can. I want to pass all my classes with at least a "B," and to thrive in the work I do. I want to get into a very good college, get my Bachelor's Degree and my Master's (potentially even a PhD!?) and try to help the world the best I can. I want to be able to make a difference in people's lives, even if it's just one person whom I helped. It would mean everything to me to know that I was significant to even their smallest successes! I think the thing I aim for the most later on in life is to become a marine biologist.
But for now, I'm trying to improve the small things in my life. To become a better writer by bettering my plot sequencing and to finally finish a story; to better my artistic creativity; to find something I'm truly passionate about and turn it into a hobby I practice every day. Also, I strive to be able to be there for my friends and family; to give good advice and to just help them work through the struggles they face every day.
Even though some days it maybe hard for me to believe that I'll meet these goals, I do have confidence in myself that I'll cross most of my goals off my list. I also have confidence that the people who are in my life right now (and the ones who stay with me in the long run) will motivate me to reach the very things in life that will not only make me happy, but make me a better person. I trust in them to help me achieve my goals. They help me realize that if I'm not pushing my limits for myself, I should do it for the people who confide in me. That's my #1 goal: to make the people I love the most proud.
I really like your goals. I believe that you would be able to reach them by studying and working hard. Also if you really like helping peope then volunteering is a good option that you could do right now to impact people's lives.
